One of our four principles at Edge City is default healthy, and Touch Grass is the residency built around it. A country home ten minutes from Healdsburg Plaza becomes the slow lane of the village for the full run of Edge Esmeralda 2026, May 30 to June 27, co-hosted by Agartha and Artizen.
We made room for it because the best moments of past Edge events tend to happen at the edges of the schedule, in long walks and slow meals and conversations that find their own pace. Touch Grass takes those edges and makes them the center of the month.
What happens at the house
Weekly intention-setting sessions, shared meals in small groups, ikigai exploration, fires, long walks, and the kind of evenings that don’t end on schedule. The Agartha team calls it “playing with presence, food, rhythm, fire, community, and the art of being alive,” which is more or less what it is.
Many of the activities will be open to the broader Edge City community. A handful of moments, like the small group dinners, are exclusive to Touch Grass residents.

Why Agartha and Artizen
Menno, Jeremy, and Nico ran Agartha House at previous Edge events and they keep showing up to host the kind of evenings people remember years later. When they proposed running Touch Grass for the full month, it was a quick yes.
Artizen joining as co-host made it easier still. Artizen runs a community-curated funding platform where every dollar a project receives from the community unlocks matching funds for the creator. They’re funding the kind of artists and scientists Edge City exists to support, and Edge Esmeralda 2026 felt like the right place for both communities to spend a month under the same roof.
Who it’s for
Anyone coming to Edge Esmeralda who knows they want a healthier month than they’d give themselves if left alone. If you tend to burn hot at gatherings like this one, Touch Grass is where the days have a different texture.
